Hi,
I’ve been super curious about this for a while. Is it possible to turbo the base se model? I’ve tried to look on the internet and have found nothing worthwhile. So I am checking y’all to see if it is and if it has been done.

I'm having a moment where I'm appreciating the simplicity of my drive train. Everything so **** complicated with ICE when looking at it from this side of the rainbow.

Simple is boring, don't get me wrong. EVs are a deal with the devil, better everything but you're a fat cow and you can't really touch anything in the car to improve performance.

Everything you've ever wanted with a figurative and literal anchor in exchange for your soul. It's like The Little Mermaid story for adult men and EVs are Ariel with Ursula behind it. We're all gonna lose our souls soon, and you're going to like it

Do you even know what you found? Is your plan to spend $1500 on a turbo kit from a tuner that apparently doesn't really exist, with no software, no feedback on how it works from the community, no one to support you? How much is that install gonna cost you? What about your intake and exhaust? Are you ok completely voiding your power train warranty? Who is doing the tuning? Are you prepared to fabricate parts yourself?

A lot of cars have a lot of great aftermarket tuning options, this is just not it man, you're going to spend a bunch of money to maybe get it to work and it's going to suck long term. Spend less, get the better stock car, start from there. You'll find a lot more and be a lot happier if you start from a place where the aftermarket is robust.

I take back everything I've been saying so far, this is totally a great idea and you should definitely start a thread and document every step of the way. I can promise you at least 3 people will watch and you'll have about a 3% chance of success. Everyone wins. At least 2 of the 3 people who will watch are already on this thread. We have a $4 budget for popcorn already set aside. Let us know what you decide.

After a thorough thought progress and consulting my bank account I’ve come to a conclusion. I do not have enough money to purchase and maintain a turbo on my car at this point, but I can still make exhaust and air box modifications. I will hopefully build up my engine little by little until I have the necessary components to maintains my engine. When I reach that point I may reevaluate my situation. Btw a $4 donation would be greatly appreciated😁.
