2024/5 Kona Limited owners. Here are the questions for you...
Just picked up our 2024 Kona Limited (FWD) in the U.S. The amount of features and tech that this sub-compact SUV is packed with is kind of astonishing for the category. It has nearly every feature of a Tucson Limited. Loving it so far. If I had to pick one feature I wish they'd added to the Limited Trim: memory driver seats. The primary driver has a slightly bad knee and a 2+ memory feature would allow them to set #1 as their desired seating position for driving and #2 as their lower-down, further back position for easier entry/exit. Luckily, getting in and out is mostly fine for them, so we'll live with it. We couldn't really justify the cost of a Tucson Limited just to have memory seats (and a heads up display.)
If I had to pick one existing feature I would modify I'm torn between... making the blindspot cameras accessible without having to indicate or making the sunroof button a little less sensitive. My 2018 Honda Civic Touring has a blindspot camera (only on the right side.) It automatically turns on when my right blinker is on, but I can also press a button in my Civic to turn it on without using my blinker, too, which is great for checking that. I find the button for opening the sunroof shade + sunroof to be a little too sensitive and it can be so easy to open both of them simultaneously when you only want to open the shade.
Anyway, minor niggles on a pretty great little SUV!
- If you could add one additional feature to the 2024/5 Limited trim, what would it be and why?
- And, if you could modify one of the 2024/5's existing features, how would you modify it and why?
