No. I have seen a range of trims - especially as the trims are different and have different names outside of the United states.

Case in point, down here in Australia N-line is not a distinct trim level on the Kona or the Kona EV. It's a Factory 'Option Package' that can be specified on top of the trim level so, you can get the Premium (our equivalent of the Limited, though it is more in line with the Korean Market upper trim) - with or without the sunroof ($1500 option) - and specify the N-line on top.

For us, the N-line Pack (on the ICE model) is the only way to get the 1.6T and the AWD. On the Hybrid and the EV, it is just a trim package.

I just bought a 2024 Kona Limited and often got messages about the engine on and the car was idling and turned off. I was in touch with the sales manager and service department ~ they probably thought I was crazy as they had never heard of that. I brought my car in ~ and it happened at the dealership. I found the way to turn it off on Redditt ~ but didn't trust that source. I found this forum and see others have had the problem. I'm having the service department disconnect that feature. My car is in a closed garage and I worry about that feature. The sales and service had never heard of this until I brought it up. Grateful I'm not the only one ~ but it is scary

You can turn off the engine idling message in the Bluelink app settings.

In my Bluelink app it's under Utilities, Settings, Vehicle management, Turn off Engine Idle Notification. It's just a false notification, engine isn't actually running. I read that Bluelink is working on fixing it.

I've had the same issue, as well as the location saying my car is in California, and I'm in Florida. VERY frustrating and concerning. Unfortunately, I have left messages for service, and even text with no response. I also have issues with display staying bright. Even though it is set to the highest of 20, it dims often as if it were set on 5. At night, it can be very hard to see.
Yet, again... no call back from good ol hyundai service. 😞

When I park the car in the garage, I make sure that the car is off, and leave it unlocked. Lately, since the last update, if I go back to the car an hour later the car’s heater is running and the car is in accessory mode ….anyone else have this issue ?
I have had this happen three times now and am being extra careful to make sure the car is off, the keys are in a faraday box where I normally store them. curious if anyone else has had this happen …..?
I will mention to the service dept when it goes in for its oil change…

I believe this is all part of the battery drain problems that many people including myself are having. There is something very strange going on with the way this car shuts down, and it's affecting a lot of people. Of course, Hyundai doesn't recognize it. I think it might have something to do with the last upgrade because that's when my problems started. I have had some success with making sure nothing is left on after leaving the car, including the radio and any heat or air. Then, using the key fob only (not the door) to lock the car. I hit the lock switch three time. This seems to completely shut off the car. I also carry a jump pack with me just in case. I hope this problem is sorted out with Hyundai soon, if they are even aware of it.

I have discovered that the computer deies the evaporator core so as to eliminate odors from mold....it's normal for rhat to happen

I do intend to make a visit to my dealer to query if any local Kona owners - I have seen a few in my local area - have reported dead battery issues after leaving their car sitting.

I have a dislike for being "that person" but it will hopefully allow me to give data from my neck of the woods, Australia, to the members here.

So what are the implications for turning this feature off? Will it allow/promote mold growth in the A/C system? I've discovered my Kona Premium several times with the fan running in the garage.

The reason for AC auto-dry is to dry moisture from the HVAC condensate drain pan. This reduces the possibility of mold growing, reducing odors and possible health implications.
Before running the fan, the program first checks the battery voltage, if it is too low, the program does not run.
The reason that you find it running sometimes is, the program runs, only one time, 30 minutes after you shut off the engine, if you were using the AC. This 30 minutes gives the condensation on the coils time to drip in to and run out of the tray through the drain hose. The blower is programmed to run for 10 minutes to dry any water that has not dripped out.
I keep the auto-dry program turned on and don't have any battery issues. I don't use any special locking procedures eirher. I aleways lock with the door handle button.

The need for some features are regional. Weather is not the same everywhere.

I have just found it yet again on my wife’s Dec23 Kona Premium N-Line AWD. It’s happened at least 8-9 times before. This time it was 40 minutes after shut down from a 15m minute drive. Admittedly, and after reading the below information we are in Brisbane Australia which can get warm (sometimes in the 40s Celsius with humidity 90+%) but the current temp is only about 27c (81f) at 79% humidity but that’s a lot of “drying time” for a relatively short drive. I must admit I haven’t checked to stopping time before today, but I’m sure there have been previous cases where I’ve found it “drying” literally hours after driving. Needless to say that I’ll be keeping an eye on the “drying time” between now and my next service.
