Hi I was wondering if anyone has the same problem.
This has happened a few times
When am driving a long distance and have the sat nav on its randomly shuts off and goes back to the normal screen IE the screen that comes on when you start the car.

I had it on adaptive cruise control on Sunday and it happened again.

Sorry if this post is confusing I have dyslexia.

Yep ... I actually reported this to the MapnSoft people (who are responsible for the NAV updates) as well as Opened a ticket with BLUELINK (who is responsible for the HEAD UNIT that NAV runs on.). Crickets, of course. Neither have been able to figure this out. I am somehow convinced that the GPS gets lost - I usually see the spinning CIRCLE when it goes to that startup screen. Most times I can press the MAP Button and it comes back. But it definitely occurs every so often. I would suggest you also open a ticket with BLUELINK and let them know YOU'RE not the only person seeing this.

Hi Many thanks for your reply

This has happened a few times and am not glad for anyone else to have there units do the same but am glad it's just not myself noticed this issue...
The satellite signal should work perfectly as there's a few satellites the GPS goes off quite a few I believe.

I have also noticed DAB radio intimiiting on occasions that you would think they would FM radio going off then back again as if its lost transmission this is a regular journey I take to Birmingham from Cheshire.

I will phone the dealer up as I need to get them to do a map update ( As it keeps coming up with this as well and only had the car a couple of months)

Keeep me posted if you get anywhere
