The cornering lights do illuminate if you're in Park and just turn the wheels.
And they are halogen, and not very bright. Kind of useless if you ask me.
Worst part is that when the cornering light activates, it deactivates the fog lights.
So, very annoying if you're driving a curvy road with the fog lights on.

Lmao @ the RCP thing. They looked identical, so I guess it's just region differences and rebrand.

So the cornering lights are halogen... Has anyone replaced them (Is it even possible) with LEDs also? They looked pretty bright and white in the photo the user posted.. unless he swapped them out. That's also extremely annoying to know that the fogs deactivate.. I know while in Auto lights, my highs kept coming on and off during driving. Is there a way to disable that without turning Auto completely off? I feel like it must look ridiculous seeing someone driving around because it kept turning them off and on constantly. Was annoying.

Post #60 (pg 6) of this thread has links to the H7 and resistors I used.

If you push the turn signal knob forward once it activates the auto-brights. If you push the turn signal knob forward again it just activates the brights.

Took some pics of the different lights.
One with just the DRLs, one with the headlights (which dims the DRLs), and one with all of them lit.
The pics make it look like the lights are different colors, but for reals they all look the same.

Were those for your fogs? I'm looking for just plug play nothing else.

They look really good. Lots of visibility? I'll probably grab the cougar and if it throws any errors grab the other ones.
What about the angle cornering lines? Are those led or halogen? The one posted on page 1, is that what they look like normally?

Just discovered a bunch of scratches in the plastic trim around the passenger side headlight when I was taking the pics last night.:(
I think it happened when I took my car to the dealer on Wed to have the horn replaced. Hadn't had any scratches on it the night before, and now it looks like someone took a left hand turn too wide and scraped up against something (toolbox, garage door, car lift). Very bummed. Haven't had this car for two weeks yet!

The H7 is for the turn assist.

Any led with a fan should work if it fits.
The fan will use enough watts to keep the bulb out warning from coming on.
So basically. RCP H11 would work for the fogs, which was posted by OP... and then I could simply buy these and use them for my cornering lights without the need of other adapters, etc?

I just got mine 2 days ago with 3k miles on it. I noticed If I hold trunk open on my fob, it doesn't pop open? Or does it just unlock? Also noticed weird scuffing at the top of the hood near my windshield.. Didn't notice it before I got it. Seems odd and out of place. Not sure if I can even get it touched up.

The trunk button on the keyfob only unlocks the liftgate, it doesn't pop it open.
Which is weird, because every other vehicle I've ever owned pops the latch when you press and hold that button.
It only unlocks it, so you don't have to unlock all the doors just to open the liftgate.
Kind of stupid, because if you're unlocking it, you clearly intend to open it.

Car manufacturers make some really baffling decisions.

Very.. So I checked in the parking lot, and I turned to the left and the left cornering light turned on, but not the right. Do they individually turn on depending on the direction of the wheels? If so, do they do so at ALL speeds or lower speeds only?

On topic of those.. The H11s that were posted and you have, I can use for fogs and they are nice looking. If I get the same make and such but as H7, can I just replace the cornering lights with no issues or resistors?

Only 1 cornering light at a time, the direction your turning.

The RCP H7 are probably not going to work, way too BIG and the factory socket holds the bulb in.

I just pulled my H7 out to check the bulb NO resistor or can bus issues.
This is the bulb
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FPS35LN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The first H7 I ordered
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07F4257YM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
DID NOT work , the diameter of the base of the led is too big.

Sounds good. I must have misunderstood because when I read your post on page 6, I thought you said you needed the resistors with those bulbs you posted for cornering lights.. So if I Can just use these and swap em out with no resistors, that makes my life a lot easier. Will just go for the H7 bulbs you posted, and then the RCP H11 for my fogs since they seem to be generally really bright and nice looking from all the photos people have posted here..

Thanks for all this, guys! I wish the dealer was more knowledgeable when it came to this ****.. lol

ops I did :(
I just found the resistors buried on my work bench along with some led's that wouldn't fit.

So even without them though you've had no error codes and whatnot. That's a plus. Gonna order all this stuff and hopefully get it next week.

Car is going in Thursday because apparently my blind spot detection keeps disabling itself due to being "blocked".. left side blind spot runs fine but right spot will trigger for no reason and tells at me if I try to merge right even if no cars there. It's pretty fun.

Update on lights.. I ordered full interior LEDs.. Got them delivered after almost 2 weeks from eBay and the delivery person either never delivered them but claimed he did, or someone stole my package. Again. People keep seeming to just.. take stuff, or packages never get dropped off properly, for a couple months now. It's becoming a nuisance and Canada Post just shrugs it off. Now I need to waste another $60 usd to buy them. Annoying.

Quick follow up question for anyone who can answer..
I bought these for my fogs, as people have stated they work amazingly.

The cornering lights are H7s? Do we have instructions on how to replace these? Is it hard, or simple going into engine bay and swapping them or? These would fit right in, correct?

Here's a picture with measurements of a bulb that will fit.
I ordered the bulb in this link, it's to fat and did NOT fit.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07F4257YM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The reason I didn't use H7's like the RCP is the dust cover will not fit back on because the fan sticks out of the housing.

These picture will help you change your bulbs, the driver side is easy, passenger side is pretty tight.

Take a look at this bulb it might fit.

I hysted the pic from @abjbrkt and added the red arrow>. As mentioned, the drivers side is really easy, the passenger side...remove this plug to access the H7 bulb below it, makes it a lot easier. Replace that plug to test your bulb as it powers the entire lighting assembly.

Here is what I used- https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FPS35LN
Good luck!
