Hi

I tried to replace the headlights with LED yesterday but could not make them hold there. It seems I am missing an adapter ring. Does anybodyknow the type of ring I would need. A link to Amazon would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Hi

The LED lighta are much longer than the original halogen. So they don’t fit directly and the bracket that used to fit on the halogen no longer fits. I need something like in this video. I just need to know why model.

Thx

"could not make them hold there."
Check the O rings on your new H7's they may be too small, switch them with the old ones.

I'd like my DRL's on the same intensity @ all times, not dimming when other lights are used, but don't know how to make that happen. Any ideas/help would be appreciated for my '18 Kona SE. Thanx!!
The DRL's dim for a reason, they throw heaps of glare high up.

They are not really designed to be used at night due to that.

Also, if you disable them turning off with the indicators, it makes it far harder for other cars to see your indicators.

I would love to have the ability to make them turn orange when the indicators are on, like some euro car's do!

LED Bulbs fit perfect , all my bulbs are LED now and all you need is this adapter !Win Power H7 LED Headlight Bulb Adapter Holder for Kia Sorento Grand Santa Fe Hyundai Sonata Generation 9(2015-2017) Hyundai Santa (1 Pair) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06ZZ37VWT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_Of1ECbRHDVSB3

@RC51 Rider what did you end up using as your LED headlight bulbs??
I would recommend Bulbfacts .com to see the choices thaeyhave for projector and reflector LED lights !

I went with Herkari bulbs and the adapters !

Finally got the dealership to install the replacement bulbs for low/ high beams.
Like the white throw much better over the yellow. Matches the LED fog & DTRL much better.
What I don't like is, now my driver side low beam points at the right road side, white line.
Back to the dealer for a headlight alignment. Sucks there's no trim/ adjustment screw to diy.

The DDM LED fog lights are plug & play and provide WAY better lighting.

I can't see which Herkari bulb you went with because the images won't open for me, can you provide the details or a link for the high beam? and so I'm clear, they fit with the covers in place, and haven't cooked your housing? I'm only looking at the high beam for now, but worry that they are not designed to be in a sealed air environment :eek:/

Would anyone be if any help? Replaced the fog lights with LED and in my excitement forgot to remove battery/lighting plug and altho the LED are working fine and no flashing I now have a light bulb sign come on the dash when ignition is turned on and starting up the car. Goes off almost right away but says in the manual to take back to Hyundai to be checked. Anyone have any easier ideas?

They have built in canbus.
Unfortunately Hyundai and Chrysler use a different resistance value than other manufactures, I haven't found any built in canbus leds that will work.

Here is a forum thread that will help. Research is fun :).

These are the h7 and resistors I used for fog lights on our 18 limited.
