Question re tires/rim for 2025 Hyundai Kona

Just purchased Hyundai Kona 2025 preferred, and have a question re rim/tire.
The Kona comes with 215/55R18 tires.
I have from previous vehicle winter tires 225/55R18 mounted on rims for Corolla Cross 2023
I was told by dealer that the rims from Corolla Cross 2023 would not fit, but that the tires would be okay to use.
I plan on trying to install the Corolla Cross 2023 tires/rims myself when I get the car later this month.
My question is, if the rims from the Corolla Cross 2023 cannot be used, can I install the 225/55R18 tires, mounted on newly purchased Hyundai Kona 2025 rims - these rims are made for tire size 215/55R18 ?

Thanks

Based on info provided by... A reference guide to wheel and tire sizes for your car.
While the bolt patterns are the same, the center bores are different.
THe speedometer difference between the tires would be negligible.

Corolla rims

  • Center Bore / Hub Bore: 60.1 mm
  • Bolt Pattern (PCD): 5x114.3 (5x4.5)

Kona rims

  • Center Bore / Hub Bore: 67.1 mm
  • Bolt Pattern (PCD): 5x114.3 (5x4.5)

The 225/55R18 tires will fit will fit on your newly purchased kona 2025 rims just fine. If you want the tire pressure readings from the new rims to be displayed in the Kona, you will need to add tire pressure sensors to the rims.

Have another question
I see from wheel-size.com that Kona 2025 rims should be
  • 7Jx18 ET50
  • Offset 48 - 52mm
  • 18x8 (diameter, width)
  • Center Bore / Hub Bore: 67.1 mm
  • Bolt Pattern (PCD): 5x114.3 (5x4.5)

But when I try and search pricing for rims for my Kona 2025 Preferred, some websites are showing 18x7.5 diameter, width, and offsets of 38-45.

Since I want to use 225/55R18 tires, can I use rim with width less that 8, and offsets less than 48-52 ?

The stock 18" rim is 7.0 inches wide. You can use this site to help visualize differences in tire size, rim size, width, offset.
