The factory nav/map setup on the 10" screen seems pretty good. What are some good reasons to use AA or Carplay instead?

-Live traffic
-Waze for cameras, reporting construction, idiots causing collisions/jams, etc
-Notifications for messaging

I do like that the onboard nav goes to HUD though
I make sure to use AA w/ waze during rush hour

I use Android Auto in my Limited for a hands free drive. Nav Texts Pod Cast Amazon Music. It just allows me to have my phone at my fingertips without really having my phone at my fingertips. 🙃 Google doesn't always understand my Jersey slang but it's better than texting and driving 😉

Yeah
  • AA for live traffic, automatic rerouting due to traffic / incidents.
  • Updates to gmaps is much more frequent than the Hyundai updates as well.
  • Very easy to communicate and manipulate it with a touch of the assistant button on the steering wheel.

Wish it had wireless AA though. I have ordered one of these to compensate that, AAWireless

Did you get yours yet? Wondering how you like it. Trying to decide which one to get this one or the Carlinkit one

All OEM navigation systems are out of date the day you drive off the lot.
Our jeep nav gives us construction and wrecks behind us and on rds we won't be driving on 😁

AA is always up to date (y) , including radar, congestion, wrecks and construction.
