(on mine) There is a small push-in Button on the lower front right corner of the unit. With it turned on, Use a ball point pen an press & hold for 30 secs. That will do a reboot of the unit. I learned this from the techs at the service dept. due to a problem I was having.

 

Thanks; that procedure simply reboot the head-unit. The software "reset" procedure on tne menu seems to be a bit more strong in that sense... but I'm looking for a deep factory reset...
