So, I bought the SE with the 16" wheels. I'm totally new to upgrading wheels, so I'm curious about a thing or two.

I'd like to upgrade to 17" or 18" wheels.

But what offset range do I need to stay within?

I don't even know what the offset is for my car currently or how it's affected by moving up in size. I know essentially nothing about these things.

Secondly, what kind of wheels have YOU guys upgraded to, if any? Pictures? I've had a hard time deciding on where I want to aim for more utility vehicle-style wheels or sporty wheels, since the Kona is such a perfect blend of the two.

A simple solution would be to go to Tire Rack or another tire web retailer and enter in the Kona that has the size wheels you want. In the US the SEL has 17" wheel while the Limited and Ultimate have 18" wheels. They will then tell you the tire size that will work for that wheel. That doesn't mean others might not work, but it will get you started.

Greetings and welcome

Did you get a chance to search for wheels?

I didn't have any luck on Discount Tire, although I have bough after market wheels from them??

Here's a link to Tire Rack with several 16" wheels, with a 40 or 45mm offset.

This links has 17 and 18" wheels also with a 40 or 45mm offset with a few 38 and 48mm.

I have. I'm mostly trying to figure out if these wheels will fit on my car as-is. Also, wondering if the brand is good.
