Do you have pictures for comparison of before and after?
Can you explain how you did that? Is it literally just stick a short piece of copper wire in there? Any particular gauge?
Indeed, a savvy technician aware of this kind of hacks and inspecting indoors in a poorly lit shop will spot it for sure. This would be a certain failure at our annual inspection.
Any gauge equal or superior to the main cable and that it fits into the connector will do.Can you explain how you did that? Is it literally just stick a short piece of copper wire in there? Any particular gauge?
Sorry, I meant to reply sooner: Thanks! I was waiting for some work to be done on my car and as soon as I get a new set of LEDs I'll try your suggestion.Any gauge equal or superior to the main cable and that it fits into the connector will do.
One other question now that I think about it: Can you test this without plugging a bulb in just having the engine on and turning on the headlights? My car isn't an EV, so the plug is probably slightly different.Any gauge equal or superior to the main cable and that it fits into the connector will do.
