I ordered a new Kona EV premium in Diva blue due to dock at Tilbury on the 15th,of May I ordered early May It was a cancelled order therefore already on the boat on its way.
My question is does the car when coming to a stop automatically put the brake on?
It depends by what means you are using to slow it down.
If you use the brake pedal all the way to a stop while in Auto Hold mode it will use the friction brakes to hold position after you lift off.
If you use the left paddle hold to stop it uses the motor to hold position and you can let go of the paddle.
You cannot reach a full stop only with the accelerator.
As a note, there are a lot more UK owners on the SpeakEV Kona forum and you'll get quicker answers there.
