Has anyone looked into the feasibility of using the center dash speaker cavity for placing a small amp? I know Mainia1 said he didn't want his to be cooking inside his dash, but I suspect that little Alpine amp would fit there, and if the solid plastic cover was replaced with the speaker grille part from Hyundai it'd get ventilated...

I have not, im setting up that spot as a pop up 3 gauge pod.

Are the tweeters on their own channel or are they component speakers/wired to the lower speaker? I'm wanting to replace/upgrade my speakers but wanna make sure I know what I am up for!

Update: yes the tweeters are on their own. Discovered by just doing it myself..
crutchfield has the adapters for all the woofers/bottom speakers but for the tweeters I had to splice the wires. Best decision by far! Love these upgraded JBLs vs Stock.

Any trouble getting aftermarket tweeters in the stock tweeter spots?
