Just bought a Kona 1.6T GT 7 speed automatic, as replacement for 2016 Tucson.
Pleased with everything except fuel consumption. Hard to better 31mpg.
The car drives like a real sports saloon, better than any hot hatch I’ve tried. Handling really taught and acceleration very good. Ride is firm but not hard.
Only problem is cruise control, doesn’t work at all (but light comes on!).

Mahalo and Welcome!

Did you set the cruise with the far right toggle control on the steering wheel, crap wait your on the right? It has to be set at speeds over 35 mph 57 kms for you. Look at your steering wheel and there will be four toggles, one will say set and res. You'll need to push up to set the speed after you turn on the cruise button beyond 57 kms. It's the far right hand toggle on the steering wheel, push up. It can also be used to increase the cruise speed or decelerate. Resume is down.

Blessings and Peace

Congrats on the new Kona and welcome to the community! I'm sure that your cruise control works, just might take a few tries before you learn all the new quirks.

What other vehicles were you looking at before deciding to get the Kona?

Did you ever figure out why cruise control not working ? Mine will set at 30 mph. Do not use cruise control much until after 1000 miles to seat rings better. My 2 cents. Best of luck.
