I am re posting some pics from my custom air box from a couple of years ago. I am not a cotton oiled filter fan (K&N esq) I wanted to get rid of the "loop around" intake runner that loops around the bumper strut. It is a Veloster R-Spec box that I think is also on the Elantra GT N-Line. I tried a Veloster N box, but there was zero ways to modify that one to work.

what did you use to round the square hole so the hose fits?

A piece of large exhaust tubing, and a propane torch.

hah nice! i thought it was fiberglass or similar
