mileage on full charge

I know Hyundai claims the KONA EV gets 258 miles on a full charge. I get anywhere from 270 miles to a high of 311 miles.
Can someone explain?
Most of my driving is freeway driving, but full charge numbers fluctuate.
I've heard the current charge relies on previous driving pattern, but my full charge can vary 40 miles.
Why did Hyundai claim 258 miles on full charge?....I never get that low on a full charge, except when Hyundai lowered my capacity to 80% 🤬

Lastly, anyone know mileage on upcoming GV60?

thanks in advance...........bob
Hyundai limits to 80% no. Electrify America suggests you only charge to 80% on long trips. To limit battery temperature. You can simply wait to 100% it just takes another twenty or thirty minutes

I took this pic this morning after arriving at work. I charged my battery to 100% Tuesday on my employer's level 2 charger and drove a good mix of hwy and surface streets (city) on my work commute the past two days.

This kind of mi/kWh is pretty typical for me with the terrain, temps, and driving habits I have in Southern California. If I decided to use more regen I might gain a little more mileage but I like the way the braking feels at a 2 level.

As you can see, my miles from 100% SOC to empty is more in the 300 range. After reading the posts here, it's evident that a lot of factors go into your own mileage results. Hyundai's 258 mi claim is on the low side in my experience but it seems to be a good average for most.
Looks like your at about 2/3 personally I don't charge until 1/3 or less. To avoid building a battery memory shortening the effective life of the battery. Per my research on Li-Ion batteries
