The upcoming Kona EV has been officially rated by the EPA at 258 miles. In fact this is actually 8 miles higher than Hyundai's first estimates from a few months ago. We will have to wait on official pricing, but the Kona is in a strong position to rival current segment leaders. With more range than the class leading Bolt, the Kona EV will go on sale in California and other select states by the end of this year. This will be its main disadvantage as most other electrics are currently available nationwide.

I assume people have seen the recent Youtube Kona EV drive in Sweden where the driver tried, and succeeded, in getting over 500km on one charge from the 64kW battery version.

I own a Kona EV and I am consistently showing 304-308 miles on a full charge. I’ve yet to test that range, but I think this car is an awesome alternative to Tesla, Chevy, Nissan, Audi, etc. it doesn’t drive or ride like my Alfa Romeo Stelvio but I feel really good driving a 100% electric car.
