So I drove the Kona for like 20 minutes and when I park and switch off the car, the engine fan stays on. I then restart the car and then it switches off. Is this normal? I read online that in some cars the fan remains on to cool the engine. But the thing is that I did not drive it for that long. If the fan has to stay on, for how long would that be?
2019, Kona, limited. I previous own an accord and have never experienced this issue.

It isn't uncommon for a fan to run for a bit longer in vehicles. Where are you in the world? This happens especially in warmer weather.

This is entirely normal, especially on a hot day. When an engine shuts off, the engine temperature can actually increase due to percolation. When you're shutting off the engine you are also disabling the water pump.
