Reviving this old thread, I have a similar powered sub as the op it has a high level in out output cable, I was wondering if I could use that or do I need a line out converter?

Depends if your amp can handle high level inputs … if it can’t, then you should convert them to low levels.

It's an infinity basslink powered sub that has both high and low level inputs, I lost the high level cable and I'm just trying to decide which cable to order.

Hmmm. I suspect the amp’s high level ins will convert to low levels anyways. Does the amp have a low pass filter already?
I would go the cheapest route 😀.

Ok so I've watched a few videos, to install the powered sub to a factory hu, I use the LOC and tap it into the main harness of the hu and then run the rca cables from the amp side of the sub to the LOC? I've only installed a sub one other time and that was to an aftermarket hu with RCA outputs.

I've got the head unit out and the wiring diagram in this thread is different than my harness, can anyone help me the LOC has 2 grey cables but the hu has 1

You just need to connect the rear speaker positive and negative and then a ground /power and and tap a remote wire fuse..you don't have to even take the head unit out..I tapped mine in my 22 n line from the b pillars didn't even have to remove anything..I think you are over thinking this. That is why it's easier to do it from the door itself or pillar because then a diagram becomes unnecessary as you have 2 options and it's fairly easy to discover which polarity is which. However with that said I'll find a link because you did it the hard way but I'm gonna keep on helping you until it works

No bro positive and negative..speakers wires also have polarity .you can buy a fuse tap from Amazon and just add a fuse I'll take a picture and show which one to use I'm using the ignition fuse to turn on my amps and processor and to turn on my battery isolator.its much easier than remembering to switch stuff of and on

Fuse box for constant power and fuse for a switch source (remote) and get an eyelet for 18 gauge wire and to the left there is plastic panel pull that off ..there is 10mm bolt pull it off sand it down crimp an eyelet to the wire heat shrink it and then reattach the 10mm bolt and boom power ground and remote all coming from the same place .run the wires however you would like..

I have it all wired up, power cable with a fuse to the positive terminal, ground wire, remote wire the LOC is wired up and I have no power at all to the sub and now it's raining lol

How do I power and ground the LOC? Oh I just read your last post, the LOC is wired with short wires to my hu, I have remote coming from the sub to the remote of the wire harness even though there is multiple blue wires, I have ground and power from sub going to the posi terminal on the battery with a fuse
