Hi all. I just had Infinity Reference Series installed in my 22 SEL.

Ref-6530cx in Front doors
Ref-6532ix in Rear doors

Currently powered by Stock Radio. Plan to install Infinity Reference 7005A Amplifier and Subwoofer next year. When Finances Improve.

They sound Nicer than Stock.

Last 2 days it's been COLD(Below 20F) here in NJ. The Front Speakers sound Muffled. Sound like a Blown Speaker at higher volumes.I'm Hoping they sound OK once it warms up next week. The Installer didn't give me the Factory Speakers. Or the Infinity Boxes. If they still sound bad, I'm calling Crutchfield about Warranty or Upgrade to a different set.

Once it Warmed up the Noise went away. Last Friday it was 57F when I went into work. Temps Dropped to about 20F a few hours later. Cold and Wet. Ice in the Doors. Maybe the Speakers had moisture on them that froze?

What is the manufacturer recommended operating temperature ?

Never looked at it but I'm in Canada, wondering if this is a rating I shoud check when shopping for speakers.

Does it go away when you drive and the cabin is warmer ?

I don't know. That day I went into work. 57F outside. Heavy Wind and Rain. Temp Dropped to 15 when I left 9 hours later. Door Jambs had Ice in them. Probably Ice buildup on the cones.
