Hyundai Kona Electric Pricing

We haven't even seen the Hyundai Kona Electric, but pricing seems to have been released already. With a starting price of 43 million won, or roughly converted to $39,990, the electric variant is more expensive than the regular Kona. Which I expected already. Still not a bad deal after incentives.

Not surprising that the EV variant is so much more expensive than the standard ICE. It looks like its going to deliver a pretty decent range too, depending on what battery/trim level you spring for. It also looks like it EV comes with a good step up in power, which is great for those looking for something with a little more performance. There aren't a lot of crossovers that go above the 200hp range, so it'll be interesting to see what else the electric variant brings to the table.
I don't think the electric version is something I can afford and probably for a lot of other buyers as well. When the range-topping Kona Flux Premium Special is 26,800,000 won or around $24,924, some may choose to forgo the green route and go for the affordable one.

Its good that you probably dont because with all the oil being discovered odds are we can either see oil prices get better. However these days its hard to say where things could go even with resources in check. Are you only concerned about range or having less of a carbon foot print?
