Hyundai Kona Antenna gap

574 Views 5 Replies 6 Participants Last post by  youdonepissedmeoff63
Hey Guys,

relatively new to this side of things but I just purchased a 2022 Hyundai Kona base model, can anyone please help to confirm if having a gap underneath the shark antenna is normal?

I accidentally clipped the garage door when reversing and have noticed that there is a slight gap underneath and not sure if I’ve just never noticed this or If this has occurred when I clipped the door.

Thanks heaps 😊

I have a 2022 Kona with SEL trim package and there's no gap under the shark fin antenna. I have no idea how you would fix that and I'm assuming a Dealer fix would be expensive, unless you could get them to do it under warranty.
get it fixed before water seeps in and cause even more damage.
I agree with Bebop, get it fixed before you have water damage. It looks like you may have caused a slight dip in the roof at the front of antenna. This would be responsible for the gap you are seeing at the back.

Pat.
This happened when you clipped the door.
Headliner will probably have to be removed to get access.

I have a 2022 Limited and no gap!
