Has anybody replaced any steering wheel components? There are 92k miles on my 2018 Kona and frequently use the CC. I wore out the paddle switch and it no longer sets speed.

I saw in a YT video in another Hyundai that I need to turn the steering wheel 90* to access the points to remove the airbag to reach the embedded components.

The part is $100 at the deal and no any cheaper online.

Be careful around the air bag!
Most people are still under the 5yr, 60000 mile warranty.

Do a search for "steering wheel" in the Search Community box in the black bar above.
I got several pages of hits, some of them might help.
It might be easer and cheaper to replace the wheel from a wrecking yard.

You must wait 20 minutes after pulling the negative battery cable to work on anything related to the airbag. You also have the Veloster, Tucson, and Elantra forums for videos on this too.

Nov 2017 Kona 1.6T. Cruise control switch replaced under warranty at 30k km dealer service Apr '19. Vehicle would not resume Set speed when switch on steering wheel flipped up. No charge, altho had to wait coupla days for part to arrive at dealership.
