Rectangle Line Font Wood Gas

I just purchased and installed a washable filter (looks like a generic K&N) from Amazon. I figure I will just check it and/or clean it after every oil change. Not sure if it will be better, but since it is washable, I will probably clean it more often than I would replace a disposable one…

All the big companies make replacement filters. Stay away from the reusable filters or filters you have to clean or oil. RockAuto is a good source for OEM compatible air filters at a reasonable cost.

hey thanks, ive used k and n and afe oiled filters for over ten years in my other cars, mkvii gti, never had one single issue after thousands and thousands of miles. my issue is with my year for some reason using an intake or higher flowing filter on my kona limited turbo kills the hp. i put the oem back in and its like new, i was curious if the aftermarket paper filters are the same specs as far as the amount of air it lets in vs the oem. lol i cant recall the correct term for the air pressure past the filter
