In March of this year, my Kona Electric battery went kaput when I was charging it at home. Everything went red and the car stopped working completely. Long story short, I have the car back, after 6 months, with a new battery, and when I went to charge it for the first time I plugged the charging unit in but there is no life there - I checked all of the connections and cannot see a problem. Do you think that the faulty electric battery could have damaged the charger?

I guess it is possible. What brand is your charger? In the past I hade good luck calling my charger's tech support guys, and they walked me through the diagnostic steps to figure out what was wrong with my charger., ( I have a chargePoint)

It is an Amazon Basics - turns out the breaker was stuck and needed to be restarted :) Simple but not easy to tell that was it.
So good to be driving an electric car again though, especially after driving gas cars for 6 months.
