Door won't lock using button on door handle

I had a 2018 1.6T Trend, and a 2022 N-line Ultimate, and had this problem with both cars. No rhyme nor reason when or why it would happen. Didn't do it very often, just often enough to be slightly annoying. I've had my N for a few weeks now, and so far no issues with the locks...knock on wood.
