I’ve had my 2020 Kona EV Ultimate for a few weeks now. I’m still trying to learn all the features through usage and reading the manuals. In the Kona Electric car infotainment quick reference guide (which ironically is about 1/2” thick bound book), it mentions several options with a “if equipped” disclaimer. Since the Ultimate is the top of the line trim level and there are essentially no options available, I’m confused as to why my Kona doesn’t seem to have these features.
I’m referring to the Parking Distance Warning (pg 2-7). I get that for the rear of the car if I’m in reverse but never for the front when I’m parking.
Also, the Rear Top View Display (pg 2-8). Don’t seem to have that either.
Next, the Surround View Monitor (pg 2-9). Don’t seem to have that either.
The last thing is the rear climate controls. I don’t seem to have that either. I’m just confused as to if the Ultimate doesn’t have these features, then which lower trim level does? Doesn’t seem to make sense. Maybe I’m just not clear on how to access them.
