Blind Spot Monitoring Sensors not working

Have a 2020 Ultimate and BSM has been alerting me when there was nothing in the lane. Took it in for a warranty repair, or so I thought. They told me the bumper has a small "ding" in it (even though it has not been in an accident) and it moved the bar under the bumper just enough to mess with the sensor a bit. They're saying it would be a "body" repair and they're getting quotes from another place for this. Has anyoe had to replace the BSM sensors? Not sure it's going to be worth having fixed. Wondering if it's something I could do. Bumper does not appear damaged so there is no actual body repair that needs to be done, just have sensors replaced. :/
