I spent some real money on a "convenience package" for my new SEL because the package included a battery warmer. How much of a difference should I expect it to make? My Chevy Bolt has been losing a good 20% of its range during the colder months despite my making every effort to avoid making undue demands on the battery, and in spite of the fact that winter temperatures in my area rarely drop below freezing.

Well, "Battery warmer" is not about the range NOW. It saves the accu "health" in the FUTURE. This "winter 20% drop" will be restored in the summer. But the capacity will drop ~~2% every year -- with heater, or it will be -5% / year WITHOUT heater. You will feel the difference in 5 years ;)
