It takes a while but soon it will be covered in oil. Common issue when people put the maf after the pcv vent line. The air intake will only flow as much as the most restricted part.

I installed the same CAI last week. 1/2 installation. I track mileage carefully and am getting 2-3 mpg more. Not sure about the + torque as I really don’t tromp on it. I’m very satisfied.
