My car has been consistently in the shop over a dead battery they replace the battery a couple times but now they just give it back and say there's nothing wrong with it even though I have videos to prove that something is draining the battery sometimes the fan will consistently run after the cars off and I'm talking for over 30 minutes. I get a glitch in my dashboard. I get really badd gas mileage. That for the most part at least 2 at a 10 times I go to started it will not start and I have to keep pushing the button several times I know it's in park and I know my foot is on the brake but the car doesn't start. Right after I signed the papers when they went to go start the car while it was in the show Room it wouldn't start no one would do anything about ripping up my paperwork.

That sounds like a terrible experience at your dealer. I would encourage you to either call the 800 number for Hyundai corporate and open a complaint, and/or see if maybe you have access to another dealer who could honor the warranty for you. Either way, get everything in writing starting now, and look towards keeping the issues well documented just in case you end up with a Lemon Law issue.

First off look up what you need to compile on your end to make a legal Lemon Law buy back claim. Not that you are going to do it , but you need to get the right paperwork and do certain things to make it work if you choose to go that route. Many people have had the rear hatch lid partially open, even though you think it is closed. The back hatch light can stay on. It takes about 4 months to smack down the stiff hatch gasket. You need to adjust the little rubber adjusters by screwing them IN more and slam your rear hatch to make sure it is closed.

I did start a complaint and they said they would send a specialist the next time I brought it in for the next time it went into the shop it had to be towed they had it for a week and a 1/2 and gave it back to me saying there was nothing wrong with it and that was with their specialist looking at it. I even have a video tape of us coming outside and I thought I left my car running but the doors were locked everything was off but yet the fan was still running. Must of the time it doesn't even start. I will start putting everything in writing from now on and thank you so very much. By the way my car doesn't even have 3000 miles on it yet

Sorry to hear that about your experience with your car, I think you definitely got a dud of a car. I also have the iron man Kona and I’ve had no issues with it and have already 43,000 miles on it with only regular oil changes.
